Well, I liked the movie better but the book is much more realistic in showing how a politician running around with a rich woman and her daughter would affect his career. In the movie, they just ignore that aspect of the story. The book certainly does not. I did like the twist at the end of the book. Most of the way through the book I thought 6 weeks was actually too long for that spoiled brat to live and I simply did not feel the connection between Bill and Nicky like I did in the movie. Of course the book didn't have Dudley Moore.
